Lydia Kimani is a graduate holding Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree in accounting, business administration and Management. She also holds an Executive Master of Science degree in organizational development. Trained in financial analysis and innovative entrepreneurship. Lydia has worked in the past as administrator / branch coordinator for the Kenya red Cross Society Nairobi branch responsible for Nairobi Region an office she held for over 7 years. She was responsible for the overall coordination of the Branches, 300 active and 1,500 on-call volunteers and 14 full time staff through organized task teams. She has worked for more than 6 years on the CEZAM -USADF Kenya Turkana Food Security Program that aimed to build effective and successful grassroots groups as the Project Development Officer on the CEZAM-USADF Kenya Program. The work involved financial analysis and business planning in support of micro and small enterprises and income generating projects. She also provided sound leadership in monitoring, evaluations, financial planning and analysis to staff including professional staff of varied expertise. She is currently working as the program coordinator on the CEZAM-USADF Kenya program where she is responsible for the overall coordination of the project.
